Overview

The Translate to menu lets you instantly view any conversation in the language you choose—while keeping the original text unchanged. It’s perfect when you’re reading a message that isn’t in your native language or need to check the conversation in a different language before replying.

What the Interface Does

Element Purpose Details
Translate to dropdown Opens a searchable list of available languages. Shows every language Eloquens supports.
Language list Select the language you want to read in. The conversation refreshes with a machine translation overlay.
View Original link Return to the message’s source language at any time. Toggle as often as you like; nothing is overwritten.

 

How to Use It

  1. Open Conversations and select the thread you want to translate.

  2. Click 🌐 Translate to: in the upper-right corner.

  3. Scroll or type in the search bar to find your target language.

  4. Click the language - Eloquens AI reloads the conversation in that language.

  5. Need the original wording? Click View Original to switch back.

Note: Translation affects only what you see on-screen. Your replies will send exactly as you write them, so compose in the customer’s language or use the AI Generate helper to generate a translated response first.

 

Common Scenarios

  • Cross-language support – Read an incoming German email even if you only speak English.

  • Quality checks – Review conversations in a common language to ensure correct tone and content.

FAQs

Question Answer
Will translation change the stored message? No. It’s a temporary overlay; the original stays intact.
Can I translate just one message instead of the whole thread? No. The feature currently translates the entire conversation at once.
Are my outgoing drafts automatically translated for me? No. You can manually write in the desired language or use AI Generate to create a translated draft.
