Eloquens v1.26.0
Eloquens 1.26 is our biggest release yet. Ask Eloquens brings one assistant chat to every page: ask how many emails your assistant handled, have it write an email, or ask it why it handled an email the way it did and have it try again. Home shows what needs you and what was set aside, new mailboxes start with drafts for their recent unanswered email, and the app speaks Czech, German and Italian.
NEW FEATURES
Ask Eloquens: "Ask Eloquens" leads the left rail, and a floating button opens it from any page (or press Cmd+K). Ask how many emails your assistant handled, have it write an email for you to review, attach documents and images to a message, and save an attached document straight into your knowledge. "Show me" takes you to the right place in the app, and how-to questions are answered from the Eloquens guide and help center. On a phone, it opens as a bottom sheet.
Ask about this email: In any conversation, "Ask about this email" opens a private chat beside the email that explains why your assistant handled it the way it did. "Redo this email" runs it again as a draft for you to review, and for assistants that send on their own you can choose to let it send if your rules allow. The chat can also redo the drafts a "Show me first" rule held, in the background, and lets you know in one notification when they are done.
What Eloquens did: Every email shows a short, plain explanation of what your assistant did, including any facts it could not find in your knowledge. "Summarize this conversation" gives you a summary you can copy, long drafts fold behind "Show more", and "Jump to the draft" takes you straight to the reply.
Catch-up on recent email: When you connect your first mailbox, Eloquens drafts replies to up to 50 recent unanswered emails already in it, newest first. Nothing is sent: every reply waits as a draft for you to review. Home shows the progress, and one notification and one email let you know when it is done. Available for Gmail, Outlook and Kerio Connect mailboxes.
Eloquens in your language: The app is available in Czech, German and Italian as well as English. Choose it under Profile, in "Interface language". Each assistant keeps its own reply language.
Show me around: A short guided tour walks new users through the app, and "Show me around" at the bottom of the left rail starts it again whenever you want.
IMPROVEMENTS
Plain words: Eloquens speaks in your terms. Your rules live in four lists (Don't reply to, Show me first, Bring in a person, How to write), and every screen, test run and explanation uses those names.
Home: "Needs your review" shows each draft's reasoning, sorts newest or oldest first, and fits a phone screen. The day card sums up the day in one line: emails seen, answered on their own, drafted and sent by you, and ignored. "Ignored" separates what you can fix (missing knowledge, or held by one of your rules) from automated mail such as newsletters and notifications, and Home remembers the time range you chose.
See the rule that held an email: Hover over (or tap) "Held by a rule" on Home to see the rule that held that email. Newsletters, promotions and notifications are recorded as automated mail.
Notifications: The bell separates "Needs your answer" from "Updates" and lists the new drafts waiting for you, your own assistants first. Mark any notice or draft as read with a hover, a keyboard focus, or a swipe.
Signatures: "Change signature" opens a browser with your signatures on the left and the full signature on the right. "Use this signature" applies it, and you can delete signatures you no longer need. Eloquens adds the signature to its replies; your Gmail or Outlook signature does not change.
Test runs in plain steps: A test run shows each step your assistant takes, from "Reply or leave it?" through "Checking your knowledge" to "Writing the reply". The four rule lists are named Don't reply to, Show me first, Bring in a person, and How to write everywhere.
Mailboxes in use: When you pick a mailbox for an assistant, an "In use" badge tells you which assistant already owns it. You can move a mailbox from a paused assistant after confirming, and the paused assistant keeps its name, rules and knowledge.
Knowledge: An assistant's Knowledge tab works like the Knowledge page, with previews, "Stop reading", and tracked Google Docs showing how fresh they are. The Add knowledge dialog lets you delete sources already in the workspace.
Faster setup for Outlook and Kerio: The first scan of an Outlook or Kerio Connect mailbox skips attachments, so setup finishes much sooner.
Kerio Connect: Mailboxes provisioned from Kerio Connect sign in with their Kerio Connect password, and a Kerio Connect server that is not yet allowed to show Eloquens shows a page explaining how to allow it.
Security: We strengthened sign-in identity checks and the handling of email content in notifications.
BUG FIXES
- Draft-ready and Q&A notification emails are delivered reliably.
- Setting up an assistant in the chat keeps the manager you chose.
- A routing habit you decline during setup is not added to the assistant's rules, and setup attaches only the knowledge you chose.
- An assistant you switch back on is not shown as stale while it catches up.
- Emails with their own colours are readable in dark mode.
- What's New shows the newest release once, with a link to anything else you missed.
