Components of a Conversations

Overview

Conversations in Eloquens AI consist of distinct components that provide full visibility into the lifecycle of an email. Each component serves a specific purpose in ensuring the effective management and understanding of email interactions.

 

Components

Incoming Email (Blue):

  • Represents the email received from the sender.
  • Includes key details such as sender information, timestamp, and message content.
  • AI Reasoning: Expand this section to view the AI’s analysis of the email, including:
    • Smart Filter Reasoning: Why the email was flagged for a response or ignored.
    • Routing Decision: Explanation of whether the email was routed to another recipient.
    • Response Recommendation: Suggestions for how the email should be handled.

Routing (Grey):

  • Appears if the Email Persona forwards the email to another party based on predefined instructions.
  • Displays information about the forwarded recipient and any additional notes during routing.

Response (Grey):

  • Indicates if the incoming email required a response.
  • Can display as a sent email or as a draft waiting for review.
  • Includes options to:
    • Edit or send the response.
    • Regenerate the draft if needed.
  • Sources: Provides a list of knowledge documents used to craft the AI’s response, ensuring transparency and traceability of information.

By understanding the components of a conversation, you can effectively manage and oversee email interactions, ensuring every message is handled appropriately.
