Eloquens v1.20
This is the big one. Eloquens has been redesigned from the navigation down, there is a proper dashboard and a dark mode, and you can now set up an email agent by talking to it instead of filling in a wizard. Underneath, this release is mostly about the reply loop being harder to break: the AI stays quiet on threads you already handled, provider slowdowns no longer stall a whole mailbox, and duplicate replies are prevented at the source.
NEW FEATURES
Eloquens has been redesigned: The visual rebuild that started with the new navigation in v1.11 is now complete and runs through every screen in the product. Consistent surfaces, typography and iconography built on a shared design system, so workflows, Knowledge AI, conversations, settings, the agent builder and the onboarding flow all finally look like one product. Cards, tables, badges, empty states, loading skeletons and dialogs were all rebuilt rather than restyled, which is why things like empty states now tell you something useful instead of showing a blank panel.
Dark mode: A full dark theme across the whole app, not just the chrome. Sidebar, top bar, dashboard, the workflow builder, Knowledge AI tables, the signature editor, charts, dialogs and every loading state respond to your theme.
Guided conversational setup: Instead of stepping through a wizard, you can now build an email agent by having a short conversation with Eloquens. It scans your inbox, proposes who you are and how you want to reply, absorbs any documents you upload, and drafts a first reply for you to react to. Works with Gmail, Outlook and Kerio Connect, reads PDF, Word and Excel uploads, and picks up where it left off if you close the tab.
A real Overview dashboard: A time-of-day welcome header, a tabbed "Needs You" queue for drafts and escalations, an insights band about your mailbox activity, next steps, and an activity card that tells you honestly when there is no email volume yet. Approve a draft straight from the dashboard.
Manage your plan inside the app: A branded pricing table, in-app Stripe checkout, and plan management under Settings, so upgrading no longer means leaving Eloquens. Billing name and address are collected properly at checkout, and plan limits now block agent creation and activation rather than letting you overshoot silently.
Better draft notifications: Draft notification emails now show the incoming email alongside the reply Eloquens drafted, so you can judge it without opening the app.
Mailbox disconnection reminders: If an email persona loses authentication, Eloquens emails you daily until it is reconnected, and escalates to a human if it stays broken.
Send feedback from inside the app: A feedback chip in the top bar routes your comments straight to the product team.
"Get the most from Eloquens" checklist: A dismissable checklist that points you at the setup steps you have not finished yet.
Knowledge AI tells you when indexing fails: Sources now carry an index status, so a failed re-index is visible instead of silently leaving your agent without that knowledge.
Deep links into conversations: A link to a specific conversation opens it pinned and highlighted in the full list.
Swap the mailbox on an existing agent: Change which email persona an email agent uses from the agent edit page, without rebuilding it.
Advanced settings drawer: Per-agent advanced configuration collected into one drawer instead of being scattered across the flow.
IMPROVEMENTS
The AI knows when to stay quiet. Threads you have already answered yourself are skipped across Gmail, Outlook and Kerio Connect, so you stop getting redundant drafts.
Polling catches the mail it was missing. Outlook polling is now provider-aware and matches recipients correctly when mail arrives at an alias or a different domain rather than the exact persona address, so mail that was visible in Outlook but missing from Eloquens now comes through.
One rate limit no longer stalls your mailbox. Gmail per-user rate limits trip a circuit breaker and alias reads retry using the provider's own Retry-After hint, instead of backing up the whole polling run.
No duplicate replies. Email events that already delivered successfully are not delivered again, and concurrent edits can no longer create duplicate workflow rows or duplicate live agents on the same persona.
Statistics you can trust. Sent emails are no longer double-counted, draft-to-sent stats survive retention windows, and Knowledge shows correct folder and file counts straight away rather than after you scroll.
Deleting a workspace cleans up after itself. Knowledge AI indexes and stored files are removed with the workspace, and old orphaned data has been backfilled.
Agents warn you about self-escalation. If an escalation owner is the agent's own address, Eloquens warns you rather than silently creating a loop.
Onboarding works properly on a phone. Full-bleed steps, a decluttered header, and correctly sized tap targets throughout the onboarding chat.
Hardened sign-up. Rebuilt registration form with a one-time-code flow and stronger password rules, single-use verification codes, and CAPTCHA protection on signup.
BUG FIXES
-
Conversation threads no longer jump while you scroll upward through a long thread.
-
Draft notification previews keep their line breaks.
-
Eloquens no longer drafts its own working notes as a reply when no email body was produced.
-
Label and folder settings survive an edit to an agent's labelling configuration.
-
Knowledge Q&A errors are surfaced instead of showing an empty list as if there were no Q&As.
-
Deleting a workflow, and bulk-deleting conversations, now ask for confirmation and hit the right endpoint.
